Timelines

The Promulgation of the Passover is important because the Israelites were preparing for the Angel of Death to pass over the house. To be prepared for the Passover you must take a branch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, apply some of this blood to the lintel and the doorposts. Also, you must not go outdoors until morning. If you didn't do this the Angel of Death  would kill your first born son. The next morning the pharoah's son was dead, and he let the Israelites be free.
