Timelines

At the Battle of Gibeon, the Lord helps Joshua in three ways: 1) He causes confusion in the enemies. 2) He sends hailstones down from heaven. 3) He made the sun stand still in the sky so that the other army would not have a chance to recoup at night fall. This shows the power of God. After the Battle of Gibeon, Joshua, son of Nun, passed away. No distinct leader rises in Israel after Joshua dies and God now sends Judges to call people back to the covenant.
