Timelines

The Lord sends Samuel to Bethlehem to pick a king from one of Jesse sons. Samuel Anoints David King, he is the most unlikley candidate for King. He is the youngest son of Jesse. The Lord annoints David king in secret, and will wait for Saul to be deposed as King or killed before he becomes King.
