Noah and the flood is important because Sin has spread from Adam and Eve to all of Man. God favored Noah so he told Noah that there was going to be a flood, so that he can wipe out the earth from sin. God gave Noah intructions on how to prepare for the flood. Another reason why this story is important is because even though man sins, God allows man to start over again.
